Soon after Seven Locks Running Club was established, it produced national champions and grew quickly. Founder and Head Coach Laura Heilman knew her club needed a website to showcase their results at nationals, highlight their commitment to community service, and display their seasonal program offerings to continue to grow and build on their success. With such growth, it is critical that the website facilitate registration, team uniform orders, and online payment processing.
I delivered a registration system with a familiar and flexible interface that accepts online payment, emails electronically signed waivers, allows for coupon codes and purchase of team uniform, automatically writes to a Google Spreadsheet, and is free of 3rd party subscription fees. Siegal Works also took this opportunity to redesign the 7LRC logo. Special thanks to O. Siegal for coming up with the design concept, which not only reflects Coach Heilman’s affinity for numbers and the club name, but also communicates movement and direction.
Opal and I continue to help Coach Heilman in various ways, including designing special T-Shirts, new tents, and new jerseys.
