When Dr. Christine J. Ko told me she had a new children’s book coming out and that she wanted to send new subscribers an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of it, Siegal Works implemented that on her site.
It got us thinking that it was a good time to upgrade and reorganize her front page to highlight her growing list of publications.
For v2.0, we retained the visual and auditory interactive features of the old site, made them more visible, and adjusted the whole site to be more readable and easier to maintain. New subscribers can, of course, still receive an ARC of her upcoming book.
Other new features of this new site include books having “Coming Soon” or “New” ribbons based on publication date, and book reviews being associated with her academic books regardless of edition. Not only has Christine been busy the past few years with new children’s books, new editions of her volumes on dermatology and dermatopathology have also been published. We grouped editions of the same volume together and were able to apply book reviews to the group.
