When Nadia Sirdar, a Northwestern-, Yale-, and UT Southwestern-educated internal medicine doctor began a new chapter in her career, she contacted Siegal Works to help her launch her new practice. While still in the nascent stages, details of her business and operational models were in flux, but Siegal Works remained fluid in the design, successfully adapting to changes and meeting the challenges.
Dr. Sirdar needed a professional email, and we set it up through Google Workspace. She wanted to use Calendly to manage her pre-enrollment one-on-one meetings, and we set that up for her, too. We also added to her website a way for prospective patients to register for the Priority List for guaranteed enrollment. We left placeholders to easily add additional social media, and, when her practice opens, we’ll replace the Priority List with enrollment.
To stay inline with the modern, clean, and elegant tone she wanted for her website, I designed a logo from the begonia flower. With its beautiful lines, the begonia symbolizes uniqueness, harmony, gratitude, watchfulness, communication, and growth. As a primary care practitioner who prides herself on listening to her patients in their entirety in order to provide the very best care, Dr. Sirdar liked its deeper meaning. I thought it a nice coincidence that “begonia” has the same beginning and ending sounds as “Bethesda.”
