Hena Khan is the award-winning author of children’s books including Amina’s Voice and Golden Domes and Silver Lanterns. With several new releases and 5 books coming out next year, she asked for a website reorganization to better feature recent and future work as well as praise received for her and her books.
Siegal Works was ready to do a full website redesign. I wanted to continue to draw inspiration from her culture and name and use the paisley shape and henna-like designs to create artwork for her site. Special thanks goes to O. Siegal for working with me on many many logo concept drawings and seeing something very unique and cool about Hena’s name — it can be read in a spiral!
Her books will include a “New!” or “Coming Soon!” badge based on the release date saved for each book. This is done automatically so books can be saved once without the need for website updates.
